FAQ
New to ICC? Here's everything you need to know about the club!
How big is your club?
ICC consistently maintains a membership of 700+ HBA1 and HBA2 students; roughly half of the HBA student body!
How can I become a member?
Step 1) Go to Ivey. Step 2) Grab yourself a membership through the HBAA Universe Link that gets released in September each year. The link is usually pretty in-your-face when it comes out, but if it isn’t, reach out to your section reps or orientation leaders and ask about it!
Where can I stay in the loop about what ICC’s up to?
Glad you asked! Following us on Instagram is your best bet. For ICC members, also be sure to check your HBA emails periodically for event and newsletter updates!
What type of events does ICC run?
ICC offers prep bootcamps, panels with upper-year students and graduates, and multiple ICC co-hosted events with our partner firms. These events range from things such as "Case Prep Essentials" to "Ace Your Internship" workshops. Want to know details? We have an Events Page dedicated to giving you the play-by-play.
Do you do firm tours?
Yes! Here’s how it works: one of our corporate partners agrees to host Ivey students at their office for a day. Attendance may be first come, first serve, or application based. We get a bus and take care of all the transportation to/from the firm (often with financial support from the firms themselves) so our members don’t have to worry about scheduling their own travel. Tours are great because firm representatives don’t need to go out of their way to travel to London. Meanwhile, members get to meet more reps, get a better sense of what it’s like to work at the firm, and get a feel for how they might fit with the firm’s culture.
I’m a firm interested in partnering up. How do we go about it?
Shoot us an email and our VP Partnerships will be in touch to set up a call! They’ll be happy to answer all your questions and run you through the details of an ICC partnership.
What firms does ICC partner with?
ICC is open to partnerships with firms of many types and sizes. As long as your firm posts internship or full-time consulting/strategy roles and has a history of hiring from Ivey for those roles, we’re open to discussing a partnership! Email us for more information on Partner Firm criteria and perks.
