Fall Conference
September
ICC’s flagship Fall Consulting Conference is a perfect starting point for HBA students looking to step into the consulting space in the beginning of the school year. This conference provided attendees with networking opportunities and all the basic technical/case knowledge they will need for consulting recruiting! This event is ICC’s largest, with over 250 attendees. A huge thanks to our sponsor firms McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Monitor Deloitte, and Accenture for their support each year!

Case Prep Essentials
September
The Case Prep Essentials Workshop is one of ICC’s most attended events. ICC goes through all the basics of case interview prep, covering topics such as frameworking, exhibits, case math, delivery, and more. It’s a must-attend for any student interested in consulting to be prepared for recruiting processes throughout the year.

Mentorship Program
September - April
ICC’s mentorship program kicks off in September, where HBA1 students are matched with upper year HBA2 & HBA3 students (based on target firm & industry interests) who’ve been through it all for consulting recruiting - networking, interviewing, and the summer internship itself! Mentors graciously volunteer their time to give back to HBA1 ICC members with chats, mock interviews, and moral support!

Coffee Chat Sprints
October
The Coffee Chat Sprint program provides students with 1:1 virtual coffee chats across different firms for 2 weeks. Students have the chance to learn about different types of firms, industries, and practice areas as they navigate their consulting recruiting journey!

Supernight
October
ICC’s Supernight is an in-person event designed to simulate a consulting final round superday. Students complete back-to-back mock cases and behavioural interviews. They also receive feedback from successful consulting recruits! It’s a must-attend for students who want to practice their skills prior to a big interview.

Toronto Firm Trip
October
The Toronto Firm Trip brings around 50 ICC members downtown to visit partner firms ahead of their recruiting processes. Firms visited vary year-to-year. Transportation is free - covered by the ICC membership fee and through support of the firms.

Mental Math Skill-Building Workshop
October
The Mental Math Skill-Building Workshop is an educational event for students who are gearing up for consulting case interviews or just want to move faster and cleaner on the numbers. The session covers mental math tips, structuring math problems, interpreting graphs/exhibits, and mini-drills for students of all levels.

Besting Behaviourals Workshop
October
ICC’s Besting Behaviourals Workshop is perfect for students who are preparing for interviews. This session walks through how to structure strong, authentic answers, highlight impact through the STAR method, and handle the toughest interview questions with ease. Executives also share tips on storytelling, communication, and presence - everything students need to stand out in their next interview.

Winter Conference
November
The Winter Consulting Conference offers an additional opportunity for HBA students interested in consulting, from new to familiar, to brush up on recruiting skills ahead of the winter recruiting cycle. A big thank you to sponsors Accenture and Mastercard who supported over 100 attendees.

Specialty Consulting Summit
January
The Specialty Consulting Panel showcases the diverse experiences of Ivey alumni working at different boutique consulting firms, each with its unique specialization. Students have the opportunity to connect with the 5 panelists and more firm representatives in an open networking setting ahead of summer internship and full-time recruiting cycles. Previous firms represented include Level5 Strategy, Hugessen Consulting Inc., Invictus Analytics + Strategy, SATOV Consultants, BDO, ZS, Synpulse, Hugessen, Exacare, and EY-Parthenon.

Advanced Casing Workshop
January
ICC’s Advanced Casing Workshop is designed for students ready to move beyond the basics and sharpen their edge in competitive interviews. It covers how to tackle non-traditional and higher-difficulty cases, including technical industries, non-business problems, and vague or open-ended prompts where structure isn’t obvious. Students also see a live advanced case walkthrough, breaking down how candidates think, structure, and communicate under pressure. This workshop is perfect for students with prior casing experience looking to take their prep to the next level.

ICC Matcha Mixer
February
ICC’s Matcha Mixer is a casual event for students to drop-in and ask the ICC executive team any questions they have about school, clubs, consulting, upcoming internships, careers, HBA2 life and more. Matcha and snacks provided - of course!

Alumni Pathways Panel
March
The Alumni Pathways Panel highlights various paths ICC alumni have taken post-consulting. This virtual event provides students with an in-depth view into working in private equity, startups, fortune 500s, and more.

Ace Your Summer Workshop
March
Ace Your Summer is a workshop hosted annually by the ICC executive team to provide advice on how to succeed in your upcoming internship in consulting. It typically includes helpful topics such as working with clients, feedback sessions, research, work-life balance, internal networking, and more - based on the real life experiences of the team members.

Full-Time Recruiting Bootcamp
June
The Full Time Bootcamp is a hybrid event (online and in-person) hosted over the summer for ICC members interested in recruiting for full-time consulting opportunities. The event covers full-time recruiting specific advice related to networking, resume & cover letters, interview preparation, recruiting timelines and has a live mock case interview demonstration with tips. Attendees enjoy a social after the event to celebrate their progress into preparation.

Full-Time Panel
July
The Full Time Panel is a virtual event that features recent Ivey HBA graduates that share their experience working in full-time consulting roles and recruiting experiences. This session typically includes advice on how to reach out for networking, how to stand out in your CV and cover letter no matter what your current experiences include, how to prepare for cases, how to do behavioural interviews, and much more with a live Q&A at the end. Previous panelists have worked at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Kearney, Monitor Deloitte, Mastercard, SATOV, and more.
