FAQ ABOUT THE IVEY CONSULTING CLUB





How many members do we have?



ICC consistently maintains a membership of at least 600 HBA1 and 2 students.



What type of events do we run?



ICC runs events throughout the academic year and into the summer that focus on helping student with the recruiting process. We offer preparation bootcamps, panels with upper-year students and graduates, and multiple ICC co-hosted events with our partner firms. These events range from things such as "Crack the Case" to "Day in the Life" workshops.



HOW DO FIRM TOURS WORK?



ICC facilitates multiple firm tours throughout the year with different partner firms. A firm tour is when one of our gracious corporate partners agrees to host Ivey students at their office. The goal for them is to show the students what is it like to work at the firm but also to get to know the potential candidate and see how they would fit with their culture.

DOES ICC RUN INFO SESSIONS?



Most consulting firms will coordinate with Ivey’s Career Management, not ICC, to conduct a 1-2 hour information session on campus after class. Firms will send representatives to give a brief presentation about their respective firms, with the remaining time used for networking. That being said, most other firm events are facilitated through ICC.



WHAT FIRMS DOES ICC PARTNER WITH?



ICC is open to partnerships with all different types of firms. We have partnerships with many large management consulting firms, but also work with many boutique and industry specific firms as well. ​
